What is the workwear branding service?

Corporate branding of workwear is a key service that turns standard clothing and uniforms into a powerful tool for identifying and advertising your business. It's not just a process of putting a logo on textiles - it's a way to create a unique look that can highlight your corporate identity. The service involves applying various techniques and methods to customize workwear to fit your company's specific needs and preferences.

By choosing workwear branding, you ensure that each team member will wear customized clothing that clearly reflects your company's vision and values. This not only enhances the corporate image but also reinforces a sense of belonging among employees. Not only will this set you apart from the competition, but it will also build customer trust by showing a commitment to quality and detail. Your team looks professional, which leads to an improved overall impression of your business.

What are the techniques we use?

At the Stenso online shop, we offer a variety of high-quality workwear branding techniques that guarantee long-lasting and impressive results. Each technique is selected depending on the textile type, the image design and the specific requirements of our customers.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is one of the most effective and popular methods of branding workwear. This technique offers image precision and durability, making it a preferred choice for many companies. The cost of the service depends on the number of colors to be printed as well as the size of the logo. The maximum number of colors in screen printing is four, which allows flexibility in design but also limits the use of complex and multi-colored images.

Screen printing is suitable for branding various textile products such as clothing, hats, gloves, bags. It is important to note that this technique is not recommended for fleece materials, as the surface of the fleece does not allow good adhesion of the dyes and may lead to undesirable results.

Screen printing technology involves several important steps:

  1. The first step is to apply a light-sensitive emulsion on a sieve.

  2. The desired image is then placed, which is pre-printed on a transparent film.

  3. The sieve is illuminated, causing the illuminated portions of the emulsion to solidify.

  4. Exposure follows, with areas that are unlit being washed, leaving holes in the sieve.

  5. The paint is pressed through these holes using a rubber squeegee, which allows precise transfer of the image onto the textile.

  6. Finally, the printed articles pass through a heat tunnel where the paint is dried and fixed onto the material.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a workwear branding method that gives a sophisticated and professional look to your clothing and uniforms. This technique features exceptional durability and image detail, making it a preferred choice for companies looking for high-quality and long-lasting results.

The cost of embroidery is based on the number of stitches, which in turn depend on the size and density of the embroidery. The more stitches needed to create the detailed design, the higher the price. The embroidery can be done directly on the textile or on a separate board which is then sewn to the product.

There are some restrictions on the use of embroidery on certain items of workwear. For example, embroidery on pockets is not recommended as this process can stitch the pocket and make it non-functional. When done on a sleeve, it is recommended that it be short or, if long, placed before the article is sewn.  Embroidery on waterproof and membrane garments is not recommended as it compromises the integrity of the garment and it loses its protective properties.

The technology used is based on computerized machines that guarantee high precision and quality of the final product. The machines are equipped with a special hanging or framing system that keeps the textile taut and in place during the process. The computer automatically controls the needle and thread movements, creating the design based on a pre-programmed digital file.

Thermal transfer printing

Thermal transfer printing is an extremely versatile and effective method of branding workwear, offering high precision and the ability to print full colour images. The main advantage of this method is that there is no limit to the number of colours, allowing the creation of intricate and detailed designs with rich and vibrant colours.

The price of thermal transfer printing is determined by the size of the print, making it affordable for both small and large orders. This technique is suitable for textiles made from a variety of fabrics, but is not recommended for fleece fabrics, as the structure of the fleece can prevent the film from adhering properly.

The technology of thermal transfer printing involves the use of a specialised film on which the image is printed. By heating the film with a press, the ink is transferred to the surface of the material. Once the foil is pressed against the textile, a cooling process completes the transfer, creating a high-resolution and durable image on the product's surface.
